Have you ever wondered about your own patterns of behaviour in relation to your work? A Personal Reformulation is a really useful way of learning more about CAT and can give you a flavour of what Cognitive Analytic Therapy is like. The emphasis on your work role helps to provide focus and containment and although not formally therapy, it gives the opportunity of experiencing a therapeutic approach and being in the ‘other chair’.
The structure for a Personal Reformulation is an initial session of two hours and then a follow up session of an hour around a month later.
I work closely with a company called Catalyse for Personal Reformulations, and If you would like to read more about having one and what happens during the sessions, you can read more here. Alternatively, just drop me a line through the contact link below and I can answer any questions you have or book you in for an initial session.
